Vallarta Supermarkets collaborated with the apparel brand Viva La Bonita, known for its clothing that celebrates themes from the Latinx community. As the lead graphic designer for this project, I developed graphics for the apparel that reflected the significant role Vallarta Supermarkets plays in the Latinx community. The designs captured the essence of summer joy and fun, while staying true to the Viva La Bonita brand identity. The main slogan, "Que Siga la Asada", was inspired by the tradition of a Carne Asada, symbolizing the good times shared during a barbecue. The phrase embodies the feeling of wanting those joyful moments to never end, perfectly aligning with the carefree spirit of summer and the celebration of community.
My Role:
Concept and Ideation | Retail and Digital Design

With its fun, playful identity, the collaboration naturally lent itself to exciting opportunities for "pop-up" events, further promoting the partnership and engaging customers in an interactive way. These pop-ups provided a dynamic platform to showcase the exclusive apparel and connect with the community, amplifying the celebration of Latinx culture and the joyful spirit of the collaboration.
